Jergens Natural Glow Face Moisturizer- Experiment, Progress, & Review

I bought the Jergens Natural Glow Face Moisturizer (in medium/tan)  about two weeks ago and I wanted to test it to see if it really works. So about every day I took photos of my face. I will show you all the series of photos that were taken over two weeks. The bottle claims to work in a week. I saw results in a week. But it took two weeks to reach my desired shade.
I like to get tan in the summer but I do not let my face get sun. I don't want more freckles or want early aging. Throughout the winter I just used foundation and bronzer to make my face even with the rest of me. But now that summer's here, I don't want to be caking on makeup and I want to be able to go without it, especially since its hot and I'll be swimming and stuff. So this was the best solution to even my face's tone with the rest of me!

My opinion on the product:
I recommend it! It gradually gives you color, so it doesn't look like over night you automatically got tan. The color is totally natural looking. Its not orange, streaky, or really brown and fake looking.
As a moisturizer, it works great! It smells good and keeps my face from getting dry. Its not greasy at all and soaks in fast. It is good for any skin types, even oily.

How to use:
The more often you use this, the quicker it works. I started off only at night, so it had time to soak in. But I wasn't seeing results so I began using it twice a day. Definitely wash your face first to remove oil so it can soak in evenly. Use a dime size amount and massage over your face. I went over my eye area so it would all be even, but I avoided my eye brows. Blend it in well with your hairline, jawline, around your mouth, and ears. Wash your hands after, so your palms don't start to get color too.

The results!!
I took these after I got out of the shower and applied it. They are all taken in natural light. Some days I skipped taking pictures because they kinda looked the same. Some are without makeup and some are with it. I did this so you can see the way it looks both ways. But I did not have bronzer on.
Day 1:
Very white as you can see!

Day 2:
This picture turned out kinda reddish. But there wasn't much of a difference yet.

Day 4:
Starting to see some results! This is when I started using it twice a day.

Day 5:
Slightly darker.

Day 6:
Of course more even skin tone with makeup, but you can see the darker color still.

Day 7:
Just foundation on. I could see results after one week.

Day 9:
No makeup here. A little darker.

Day 11:
Just foundation again.

Day 13:
Just foundation. Really starting to like the results!
Day 14:
Final look after two weeks!

Overall:
I love this product! I am still using the same foundation shade (Revlon Colorstay in Nude) for now, I just get to use wayy less bronzer, if any at all! I will probably get one shade darker for the summer.

They also have the body moisturizer. Click here for it.

What did you all think? Was it worth it? Have you tried it?
Did this help you out?
Let me know in the comments!!!

Double Winged Eyeliner (Dramatic and Wearable Way) Tutorial

*image from Bing

This a gorgeous look that can be worn dramatic or subtle. Everyone will notice when wearing this look because it is so unique. I recreated this look and the products I used are:

-Stila Kajal Liner in Onyx as a base on the outer half and crease
-Coastal Scents 88 palette (light gold color in inner corner, darker shimmery gold color over lid and lower lashline, and matte black color on outer V)
-MAX Factor Vivid Impact Eyeshadow Duo in Brassy Berry (gold side) on the outer half of eye and outer side of the brow bone (above the black)
-Maybelline EyeStudio quad in Sapphire Siren (black shimmer color over the matte black)
-Maybelline EyeStudio gel liner in Blackest Black

To do the liner:
Start with the gel liner and a SS209 brush. Line the upper lashline, making it slightly thicker as you reach the end. Do not go all the way to the bottom of your upper lashline. Extend the liner out, getting thinner towards the end
Smudge the top of the line in the outer corner and blend with black shadow.
Using the same gel liner, line the bottom liner, making it thicker as you reach the end, but thinner as  the wing extends out. Make the lower line extend slightly passed the top one
Do not connect the lines and leave a small enough gap between, about the size for an eyeliner pencil tip to fit.
Blend the bottom line too, and add black shadow to smudge.
Using the black side of the NYX eyeliner, line the inner corner of the eyes. I used this because it is not too black and does not smudge. The inner line should be crisp.
Using the white side of the NYX eyeliner, make a subtle white line in between the two lines. This helps it look more defined.

For a more wearable look:
I toned it down my just using the shimmery gold from the Coastal Scents palette all over the lid and a medium matte brown the in the outer V.
I did the same technique for the liner, just not as thick.

This is a lot simpler than it looks. And with a little practice, can be easy.
You can even just wear the liner with no shadow and bright lips.
Or you can try using colored liner only on the top, bottom, or both.

Comment on what you think of this look. Have you tried it? Will you try it now? How do you wear it?
Update--
*I just started using the Jergens Natural Glow Face Moisturizer and I am going to be taking pictures to see the progress. It claims to show results after one week, so at the end of the week I will do a post on it and review. I hope it works :] Have any of you tried it?

Clothing Purchases- Charlottes Russe and American Eagle

Just a little haul of some stuff I got today...
The main pieces are new and I added stuff I already had.

These purple floral shorts are from Charlotte Russe ($10). They look a lot like a skirt, but its shorts. It has dark and light purple and some yellow in.
Charlotte Russe had tank tops for 2 for $10 so I got the yellow one with it.
The jean jacket is old, and from Hollister.
The shoes are from last year from American Eagle.

This black romper is gathered at the waist with a draw string and buttons down the front. It was $10 at Charlotte Russe.
Underneath I have just a turquoise tank top from Hollister.
*See the end of the post for the shoes and jewelry.

The turquoise shirt has an elastic band and pockets with strings on them. It was $20 at Charlotte Russe.
The brown tank top was part of the 2 for $10.
The belt is one I already had from Forever21.

The black shorts are super comfortable and were $17 at Charlotte Russe.

Both the necklace ($7) and bracelet ($6) are from Charlotte Russe. The necklace has a really pretty turquoise stone with a cluster of a ton of random things. The bracelet came in a group with a bunch of other brown and red bracelets.

These flat sandals are dark brown and turquoise. They were $15 at Charlotte Russe. The bottom looks black when you put it with a black outfit or can look brown.

These white sandals were $30 at American
Eagle.

And that's all! There were so many Mother's Day sales today. New York and company had a huge sale for 50% off everything, but I ran out of time to look there.
Let me know if you liked the outfits or if you have any questions. Did you all shop any Mother's Day sales?

Gena
