Holiday Makeup Look- Golden Cranberry

Happy Holidays everyone!
I created this look with Christmas in mind. Its a shimmery gold and cranberry look. Here's how I did it, it was easy!

-Apply UDPP
-Dab on a small amount of NYX White Eyeshadow Base to the center of lid and blend
-Taking a Sigma SS217 (or E35), get a small amount of the red color in Coastal Scent's 88 Color palette (its the 3rd in from the right, 3rd up). Blend that in your crease.
-Take a small dab of the maroon color (4th in from the right, 3rd up) and blend that over the red you applied.
-Take a Sigma SS239 (or E35) and the darker gold in Maybelline's EyeStudio quad in Give Me Gold, and apply that to the center of your lid and blend to the inner and outer corners.
-Take a Sigma E45 and the shimmery brown color in NYX's For Your Eyes Only Mysterious Brown Eyes, and apply that to the outer V of your eye and blend in your crease.
-Then taking a SS252 (or E60) and MAX Factor's Vivid Impact Eyeshadow Duo in Brassy Berry (the gold side) and apply it to your inner corner.
-Apply that same loose gold shadow with a Sigma SS275 (or E70) to your lower lash line.
-Finish with NYX's eyeshadow in Highlight on your brow bone.

-Using Sonia Kashuk's Bent Eyeliner brush, apply Maybelline EyeStudio Gel Eyeliner in Black to the upper lash line and waterline, adding a slight wing.
-Curl lashes and apply lots of L' Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara in Blackest Black

-Apply NARS Laguna Bronzer with a Sigma SS150 (or F30)
-Taking a Sigma F10 apply Coastal Scents Professional Blush palette ( the last color in the top row)

-Apply a small amount of Revlon's ColorBurst Lipstick in Rosy Nude
-Finish it off with OPI's Two In One Lip Gloss (From the Teas-y Does It set)

Glitter Dipped Holiday Nails

Happy Holidays everyone! I hope you all are getting excited for Christmas (or any other holiday you might celebrate).. considering it is only about 3 days away. Christmas is the perfect time to play around with nail designs since it is all about glitter, golds, greens, reds, purples, anything festive! This picture doesn't quite do this look justice, but it is a dark forest green with gold glitter that has some red sparkles in it.

I started off with my base coat (Sally Hansen Complete Care Extra Moisturizing 4-in-one Treatment), then I applied Orly's Enchanted Forest nail polish.
Taking an glitter you want (i used Sinful Color's All About You), go over the very tips of your nail. Then, wipe the brush off so there's hardly any on there. Holding the brush vertical, very gently pull some of the glitter down in little thin lines. Layer on another coat or two on the very tips, so there is a gradual change in the amount of glitter. This gives it that faded affect. I finished it off with Seche Vite topcoat. Be sure to wait for it to dry before the topcoat so it doesn't smudge.

Ya like? Comment if you try it out.

Tutorial: Loose Curls/Waves

Hey everyone! Sorry it has been so long since posting. I've been running around trying to get ready for Christmas. But anyways..this hairstyle is really cute for the holidays. It is one of my favorite looks. Its curls, but almost waves since they are loose. I used the Hot Tools 2 inch curling iron, with the clamp removed. If you do not have long hair, I strongly recommend using a smaller barrel curling iron like a 1 1/2.

-I started off my blow drying my hair
-Spray CHI 44 Iron Guard
-Section it off in layers starting from the bottom
-I straightened about 2 inches of my hair with a straightening iron at the roots since it is so curly, but you can skip it.
-Then, taking a 1 inch section, hold the curling iron pointing to the floor
-Wrap the hair around the barrel as far as you can without burning your fingers
-Hold for a little longer than you normally would, since your not using the clamp (the longer you hold it, the tighter the curl)
-*Switch the direction you are curling it with each section. This keeps the curls from grouping together in one big curl. That is pretty too, but I was going for more volume and tousled curls.
-Gently run your fingers through your hair and spray with hairspray. I love the Aussie Aussome Volume Hairspray, it is so good at adding volume.

Thats it! Its a lot easier than it looks.
